"我喜欢观察与我亲近的猫和人的姿态，我用观察性绘画或相机来捕捉这种姿态，然后从中提取所需要的元素，将它们解构、提炼成半抽象的符号并重构在我的油画中。我会选择有冲突性的颜色，去尝试创造与平淡现实所不同的空间与场景。绘画不是传达观念的工具，它本身纯粹的图像因素、冲突与平衡、笔触带来的绘画感才是最终的目的。"

“I enjoy observing the gestures of cats and people that I am intimate with. I use observational drawing or camera to capture such gestures, and then extract the elements I need from them, deconstruct and refine them into semi-abstract symbols and reconstruct them in my oil paintings. I will choose conflicting colors to try to create spaces and scenes that are different from the plain reality. My painting is not a tool to convey concepts. The ultimate goal of painting is the pure image factor, conflict and balance, and the sense of touch brought by brush strokes.”
